-New Qt 5.8.0-rc snapshots are up at: http://download.qt.io/snapshots/qt/5.8/5.8.0-rc/ If there are no major problems, official 5.8.0 is expected to be released tomorrow. -The Qt Remote Objects playground project wants to be upgraded to a full Qt project. -A Qt 5.8.0 release candidate is now available: http://blog.qt.io/blog/2016/12/22/qt-5-8-0-release-candidate-available/ -A new RC snapshot should be available later this week. Jan. 17 is the target for an official Qt 5.8.0 release. -As of Jan. 2, 2017, a feature freeze is in effect for Qt 5.9.0.

Qt 5.8.0 Beta status: Some issues were found. Intend to address those and release next week. Qy 5.7.1 status: There are still some blockers present. The goal is to release as soon as possible in early November, though no date has been set. Qt Creator 4.2 Beta1 status: Released. Here's this week's update: Qt 5.6.2 has been released: http://blog.qt.io/blog/2016/10/12/qt-5-6-2-released/ Qt 5.8.0 beta new target data has slipped to week 43, which is October 24. Qt 5.7.1 is still scheduled for release by the end of October.
